About the Journal

OVERVIEW

Aims and Scope

The USKT Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is an interdisciplinary journal that provides a platform to academics and education system actors for global and multi-disciplinary dialogue in the field of education, social sciences and humanities. It follows an ambitious agenda by embracing and strongly encouraging the study and critical discussions on all related specialisms, both as subjects and pedagogical/professional practice. These include, but are not limited to, linguistics (Phonetics and Phonology, Stylistics, Critical Discourse Analysis, Foucauldian Discourse Analysis etc.) literature, languages, histories, education and Islamic studies.

The USKT Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is committed to publishing work that meets the required standards of scholarship. Manuscripts must be in English, should target both national and international audience and be able to contribute to theoretical and conceptual models of the disciplines concerned. Similarly, they should significantly advance our understanding of methods and research issues in the related field. Research work sent for publishing to the USKT Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities must be original and innovative. As a measure of inclusion, the USKT Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities doesn’t consider scholars’ academic position as a criterion to publish a research work. Thus, it gives equal consideration to works sent by students, teachers, professors and other education system actors etc., and contributors do not need to be necessarily part of educational institutions.
